Physical Description:
Dudley Cliffs Urban Wild is a dramatic, exposed vertical face of Roxbury Puddingstone rising 25 feet above New Dudley Street across from the Reggie Lewis Center and Madison Park High School. The lower portion of the Wild includes the park at the corner of King Street and runs west along New Dudley, here, supporting some rough weedy vegetation and bearing a sign advertising the Roxbury Heritage State Park. Above, the Puddingstone outcrop blends into the cultivated lawns of the Dillaway Thomas House historic site and the state park.
